Bible Reading: Psalm 9:1-20
Text: 1 Kings 18:46
Note:
- To confront means to face someone or something directly.
- Fear is often described as False Evidence Appearing Real.
The 3 covenant we operate on as a church
1. Covenant of Speed (1 Kings 18:46)
2. Covenant of Longevity
3. Covenant of Prosperity
Steps to Confronting Your Fears
Every new level in life brings new fears. The question is, how do we face them?
1. Replace Fear with Great Faith (Matthew 15:28)
- Great faith does not entertain fear. (Matthew 15:25-27)
- Faith is intertwined with worship; when we have faith, we worship.
2. Walk in Boldness (Hebrews 4:16, Hebrews 10:19-22)
- Boldness is essential to approach God in worship and to enter His presence.
3. Confess Your Faith in Christ (Romans 10:9, Hebrews 10:23, Hebrews 11:17)
- Sometimes, God delays blessings because He is still working on us.
- Regardless of where God places you, you are greater than your circumstances.
Conclusion (Ephesians 6:16):
Stop focusing on the storms you face. Instead, look to the glory that awaits you after the storm.
Every storm has a purpose and within it lies your glory. Your fears may be the storms, but they are not the end.
Prayer:
No matter how dry your season is, it will soon rain in your life.
- 1 Peter 5:7-10
- Romans 8:15
- 2 Corinthians 4:15-18
Final Thought:
No matter the fears you face, confront them by replacing them with faith and confessing your trust in Christ.
